In Manokwari, the number of owned animals allowed to roam freely is relatively high. This can trigger the spread of diseases and lead to uncontrolled population growth. This community service aimed to provide opportunistic education to improve pet owners’ understanding and awareness of the importance of sterilization. Opportunistic education was delivered by Koffie Petshop and Pet Care Animal Clinic Manokwari from January to August 2025. A total of 45 animals were sterilized following this education. The opportunistic education conducted at Koffie Petshop and Pet Care Manokwari was proven to increase knowledge among some clients and encourage some pet owners to proceed with sterilization.
