Abstract
ABSTRACT
This community service activity (PKM) aims to increase understanding of the preparation of learning units in accordance with the GKI Sunday school curriculum in Tanah Papua for Sunday school teachers at the GKI Pengharapan Congregation in Jayapura. The method used in this community service activity is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. This activity was attended by 31 Sunday school teachers from 3 learning classes, namely: kindergarten / small child class teachers, Tanggung children class teachers and youth class teachers. Sunday School teachers come from nine (9) Rayon ministries in the GKI Pengharapan Congregation in Jayapura. The stages in compiling Sunday School learning units consist of determining the Kerugma or Core News in Bible reading, creating learning objectives and compiling Sunday School learning units. After mentoring activities to compile Sunday school lesson units for Sunday school teachers, there was a fundamental change for teachers.

ABSTRAK
Kegiatan penulisan kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang penyusunan satuan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum sekolah minggu GKI di Tanah Papua bagi pengajar sekolah minggu di Jemaat GKI Pengharapan Jayapura. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan penulisan masyarakat ini adalah metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 31 pengajar sekolah minggu dari 3 kelas belajar, yakni: pengajar kelas TK/Anak Kecil, Pengajar pada kelas anak Tanggung dan Pengajar kelas anak remaja. Pengajar Sekolah Minggu berasal dari sembilan (9) Rayon pelayanan di Jemaat GKI Pengharapan Jayapura. Tahapan dalam menyusun satuan pembelajaran Sekolah Minggu terdiri dari menentukan Kerugma atau Inti Berita dalam pembacaan Alkitab, membuat tujuan pembelajaran dan menyusun satuan pembelajaran sekolah minggu. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan menyusun satuan pelajaran sekolah minggu pada pengajar sekolah minggu maka terjadi perubahan mendasar bagi pengajar sekolah minggu, yakni: 1) Pengetahuan peserta tentang cara menentukan kerugma atau inti berita dalam pembacaan Alkitab menigkat; 2) Peningkatan cara menyusun pelajaran sekolah minggu yang inovatif dan kreatif; 3) Adanya perubahan dalam mendorong potensi dan perkembangan anak di Jemaat GKI Pengharapan Jayapura.
